Frequently Asked Questions
Should I Be Concerned About My Health? We are fully aware of the coronavirus concerns in our area. Rolling Hills Community Church has taken measures to sanitize their facilities and will continue to do so throughout the season. We believe that God has something incredible for all of us and we hope you will be at ease knowing that we are not being naive, but moving forward with full wisdom and faith.
What About Parking? Please be kind to the environment and CARPOOL when possible. There is no overflow parking. Parking on Borland Road or other side streets is not allowed. There is also no overnight parking. Uber and Lyft are both readily available options in the area.
Can I register at the door? Registration is open until July 1, 2020 online. Due to the nature of this event, pre-registration is required for all attendees.
How will I get my ticket? All new registration packets will be mailed by July 3rd. If you registered prior to March 13 & 14 and already received a registration packet, please bring your bracelet with you on July 10 & 11. Your original ticket will be honored. If you do not receive a registration packet in the mail, no worries! You can visit WILL CALL when you arrive and we will make sure you get everything you need for the weekend.
Are there scholarships? Yes, we do offer partial scholarships and want to make sure EVERY woman can come. Please contact us directly if you want to gift another or if you need a scholarship yourself.
What if I have a large group? Please inquire with Janelle O’Connell at firstname.lastname@example.org if you are planning to bring a group larger than 30 women.
Can I change my breakout or menu selection once I have registered? We encourage you to stick with your original selections, but in special cases, we may be able to make adjustments. Please contact us directly as needed.
What is the cancellation policy? If you purchased tickets after 3/13 & 3/14, you may receive a full refund if canceled by June 1, 2020. Special circumstances will be considered per inquiry to email@example.com. You can also consider donating your ticket to someone who needs a scholarship.
COVID-19 reschedule. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org directly for inquiries about alternative options if you purchased a ticket prior to 3/13 and cannot make the rescheduled date.
What meals will be provided with the purchase of a ticket? Your ticket includes unlimited coffee, tea, and water, light snacks both Friday evening and Saturday am, as well as a beautifully catered lunch from Portland’s own Elephant’s Delicatessen. Click here to view our lunch menu.
I need my coffee. What can I expect? Rolling Hills has a full cafe where they serve espresso drinks for additional purchase. All funds received at the cafe help fund the needs of relief ministries both local to Tualatin and abroad. The Cafe will be open and available on site one hour prior to opening sessions and throughout the event.
I have food intolerances or allergies. Are there accommodations for this? When you register, be sure to mark your meal to suit your needs and you will receive a specific wrist bracelet when you arrive
Please plan to make travel accommodations as soon as possible because the rooms are limited. All hotels listed below include
Grand Hotel Bridgeport (9 min away)
Century Hotel in Tualatin (9 min away)
Comfort Inn in Tualatin (8 min away) Soon changing to Best Western, completely renovated property.
Will this be a safe place for all women regardless of race, ethnicity, story, or spiritual journey? YES, absolutely. In the room of grace, we are able to be honest with who we are, acknowledging privilege (or lack there of), owning preconceived expectations, and allowing room for doubt or questions. Please know that we will be discussing areas of racism, privilege, spiritual abuse, and shame from the stage and in the breakouts.
What about Handicap Accessibility? There are a large number of handicap parking spots as well as handicap accessible areas of the main auditorium, however, two of the breakout session rooms are challenging to access. If you plan to attend a session in one of the two breakouts that do not have accessibility, please email us direction at email@example.com and an InCourage team member will escort you to that breakout session.
Can I bring my child(ren) or is there childcare? There will be no childcare available. Due to the nature of this gathering, we are sad to say that you will need to make other arrangements for your nursing baby for this event. We hope you can still make it, as you are worth it!
What is the age recommendation for this women’s gathering? This gathering is recommended for women ages 18-88.
Will I have access to the Internet? There will be no access to free wifi during the gathering.
For general inquiries, please contact us directly and an InCourage Team member will get in touch with you. Phone: Janelle O’Connell 503-610-3676 or email: firstname.lastname@example.org
